Gibraltar announced that Eduardo (Eddy) del Rio has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Loan Originations. Based in Miami, del Rio will be responsible for new business development for factoring and asset-based lines of credit throughout Florida.
With 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, del Rio has held multiple roles in business development and relationship management and brings to Gibraltar an extensive background in providing financing solutions to small businesses and middle-market companies. He previously held senior client management positions for global financial institutions including Bank of America.
“We are delighted to welcome Eddy to the Gibraltar Business Capital team,” said Darren Latimer, the company’s CEO. “While undoubtedly he will play a key role in expanding Gibraltar’s reach within the Hispanic business community, we also greatly value his longstanding contribution to the South Florida financial community as a thought leader in our industry.”
