Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced the hiring of Andrew Booth as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Leveraged Finance. Booth will focus on further developing the firm's capabilities in the origination, underwriting and syndication of leveraged loans and high yield bonds. Booth is based in New York.

Booth joined Guggenheim from Lazard, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Lazard Capital Markets. Previously he worked at Jefferies for 16 years and was co-founder and Head of Jefferies Finance, a commercial finance company formed by Jefferies and MassMutual.
Booth holds a BA in Economics and Law from Cambridge University and an MBA from UCLA.
