Alvarez & Marsal Real Estate Advisory Services announced it is assisting the U.S. Navy in a search for a developer for a 12-acre site in Southern Maryland. The Navy has issued a request for qualifications for a lease opportunity at Navy Recreation Center (NRC) Solomons, located in Solomons, Maryland. The move is part of the Navy’s Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) program, which A&M has been supporting in a consulting capacity for the past several years.

NRC Solomons is the Navy’s largest outdoor recreation facility, providing indoor and outdoor lodging among other amenities. It is located at the intersection of the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay at the southern tip of Calvert County, about 70 miles outside of Washington, D.C. The Navy seeks to competitively select one entity to develop, operate and maintain the facilities within the EUL site for the term of the lease as well as provide cash and/or in-kind consideration to the Navy.
