TCF Capital Funding ("TCFCF"), the Chicago-based cash flow and asset-based lending division of TCF National Bank (“TCF Bank”), announced that it has promoted James Kuncl to Senior Vice President. Kuncl has been instrumental in building private equity client relationships, structuring transactions, and leading the underwriting process.

"This promotion is reflective of Jim’s hard work and contributions to our team.  I am confident that with his experience in originating and underwriting transactions, Jim will continue to drive growth," said Joe Gaffigan, President of TCF Capital Funding.

In addition, TCF Capital Funding announced the hiring of Scott Nielsen, Karim Hooda, Mike Trojanowski, Joe Horwath, and Kristin Montgomery.  Nielsen focuses on new business development.  Hooda, Mr. Horwath, and Trojanowski focus on the structuring and underwriting of new investments as well as engage in portfolio management.  Montgomery joins the operations team as a collateral analyst.
