Citizens Commercial Banking, the commercial banking division of Citizens Financial Group, announced today that Michael Cummins has been named Head of Treasury Solutions and will be joining the bank next month.

Cummins joins Citizens from HSBC where he was executive vice president and North American head of payments and cash management. He also was a member of the HSBC North American Executive Committee.

Previously, Cummins spent 15 years at JPMorgan Chase, most recently as managing director and sales executive for treasury services responsible for North American corporations and subsidiaries of Asian, European and Latin American multinationals. His prior roles include managing director and sales executive for mid-market and public sector companies and several specialized industry sectors.

A University of Rhode Island graduate, Cummins earned his MBA from Columbia University.
