Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP principal William K. Snyder—previously the co-leader of Deloitte Corporate Restructuring Group (Deloitte CRG)--has been named leader of Deloitte CRG for the United States. Snyder succeeds his former co-leader, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP principal Sheila T. Smith, who will continue in her role as Americas Region Restructuring Services leader for Deloitte until her retirement in May 2015.
Prior to joining Deloitte in 2012 via acquisition, Snyder was a managing partner and founder of CRG Partners Group LLC. During his 25-year career, Snyder has participated in the restructuring of over 70 organizations and served as an interim-officer, -examiner or -trustee in more than 20 bankruptcies.

A resident of Southlake, Texas, Snyder earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional and has received numerous distinctions over the years, including being named to the Turnarounds & Workouts people to watch list for 2007 and the American College of Bankruptcy's Fifth Circuit Fellowship.
