Capital One Bank announced it has added Barbara Jane Kaplan to its Middle Market Commercial Banking team serving greater Dallas.

A Senior Vice President, Kaplan has 25 years of banking experience. She will serve the financial needs of large corporate and middle-market companies in greater Dallas.

“Barbara Jane brings a wealth of middle market banking experience and knowledge, and her deep understanding of the Dallas market will benefit our middle-market clients across the area,” said Carol Nichols, Dallas Regional Commercial Executive for Capital One Bank. “We are pleased to welcome her to our talented middle market commercial banking team.”

Kaplan joins Capital One from Bank of Texas, where she was a senior vice president and commercial banking relationship manager in Dallas. Before that, she served in commercial banking positions in the Dallas area for JPMorgan Chase for ten years and Bank of Texas for three years. 

Active in the community, Kaplan serves as President Elect for Garland Lakeside Rotary and volunteers for Junior Achievement of Dallas.

Capital One Bank operates more than 170 branches in Texas and is the 10th-largest bank in the state based on deposits.
