Dave Bohn has joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and its Equity Capital Markets Origination effort as a managing director focused on the life science industry. Bohn provides over 17 years of experience in both investment banking and capital markets. He has experience with both traditional and alternative capital raising strategies with a heavy concentration in healthcare.

His experience provides STRH with a unique set of skills that will further our effort in providing companies and investors with best in class financial advice. In addition to focusing on The Life Sciences, he will enhance its non-traditional financing alternatives across our other sectors. Most recently,  Bohn was a managing director andglobal head of Private Placements at Jefferies & Co. where he was responsible for all of the alternative equity finance activities including private placements across all industry groups. He was instrumental in building one of the most active Confidentially Marketed Public Offering (CMPO) businesses between 2010 and 2015 where they became a market leader for life science issuance.

Prior to Jefferies, Bohn served in a similar capacity at Cowen, Citi, UBS and PaineWebber working with companies on private transactions including pre-ipo and strategic financings, in addition to advising and executing privately placed offerings for public companies. Bohn received an MBA from The Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova. He will be based in New York.
