Victory Park Capital (VPC), an asset management firm focused on middle market debt and equity investments, announced today that new hire Karrie Truglia will join the team as vice president in New York City to further develop VPC’s debt capital markets activity. VPC also announced the promotion of three investment professionals to vice president and the hiring of four new associates and two operations personnel to its Chicago office. Additionally, VPC is expanding its team in Los Angeles with a relocation of Vice President Geoff Mikelsons, who will join Partner Jason Brown.
Truglia joins VPC with more than 15 years of experience in global and domestic financial services organizations. Previously, Truglia spent eight years with Citigroup, where she served as director of global securitized products, offering strategic, solution-oriented advice for key relationship banks, specialty finance and financial services companies. Truglia has held several other management positions at Bear Stearns & Co., Assured Guaranty and BMW Financial Services.

The promotions are as follows:
- Whitney Doerr, Vice President. Doerr is responsible for origination, fundamental analysis, transaction execution and management of direct private debt and equity investments into small cap and lower middle market companies across various sectors. Doerr joined VPC in 2013 and has more than six years of investment management experience.
- Philip Nanney, Vice President. Nanney is responsible for origination, fundamental analysis, transaction execution and management of direct private debt and equity investments with significant experience investing in the specialty finance sector. Nanney joined VPC in 2013 and has more than seven years of investment management experience.
- Zachary Nemes, Vice President. Nemes is responsible for origination, fundamental analysis, transaction execution and management of direct private debt and equity investments and portfolio companies. Nemes joined VPC in 2013 and has more than seven years of investment management experience.
