Bank of America Business Capital Names Two New Senior BDOs

Bank of America Business Capital announced it has named Bruce Weidner and Austin Steel as senior vice presidents and senior business development officers to help deliver commercial banking and asset-based lending solutions to our clients, prospects and financial sponsors.  The group is part of Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Based in Minneapolis, Weidner joins the bank from PNC Business Credit, where he served as vice president of business development in Minneapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City.  He brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, relationship and business management and corporate banking.  Weidner is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

Steele, who is based in McLean, VA, joins the bank with experience in senior secured and unsecured lending across commercial and corporate banking in Chicago and Washington, D.C.  He most recently served at PNC Business Credit as vice president of business development for the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest markets. Steele is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Commercial Finance Association and Turnaround Management Association.
