Capital One Bank announced that Karen Becker has joined its Middle Market banking team in New Jersey as Senior Vice President. In this role, she will provide lending and commercial banking services to Capital One's middle market customers in New Jersey. Becker will report to Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Roy Aksdal.

Becker brings 25 years of banking experience to Capital One. Previously she served as a Senior Vice President for commercial banking at Citi Commercial Bank, where she built and managed a portfolio of Middle Market loans. In addition, she structured project finance deals and managed and reorganized the Global Vendor Financing Operations for Lucent. Becker also has held senior roles at PNC Bank, Wachovia Bank, and First Union National Bank.

Becker lives in Brick Township, and received her B.A. degree in economics and business administration from Western Maryland College, and a MBA in Finance from Drexel University.
