Bank of America Business Capital has named Ira Kreft as Marketing Manager for the Central Region to manage a team of business development professionals who deliver commercial banking and asset-based lending solutions to large and middle-market companies, intermediaries and financial sponsors.  Based in Chicago, he and his team serve clients in the Midwestern United States and Eastern Canada. 

Kreft has been with the bank for more than 20 years and has held a variety of roles including senior business development officer, marketing manager and group manager. He also specializes in working with companies in the industrial sector, including across the metals industry. Kreft has also worked with RBS Citizens Business Capital, NewStar, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Kreft holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
