Butler Gear Company Seeks Buyer, Retains Heritage Equity Partners

Butler Gear Company, Inc. has retained Heritage Equity Partners (“HEP”) to seek a buyer for the 55 year old gear manufacturing business in Butler, WI.  Located just outside of North-West Milwaukee, Butler Gear manufactures a wide variety of standard and custom gears and related products, including spur, helical, internal gears, worm and worm gears, racks, sprockets, face gears and timing belts. 

Operating in a 46,000 square foot facility, Butler Gear offers its customers a broad range of ISO compliant services, such as machining of customer supplied product, complete manufacturing from customer’s drawings, and also reverse engineering.  Turning services provide precision tolerances down to (+/-)0.001 of an inch on all part dimensions, and the Company can work with a wide variety of materials, including but not limited to stainless steel, alloy steel, non-ferrous materials and plastics.  Industries served by Butler Gear include: Mining Machinery, Heavy Equipment Manufacturers, Railroad, Satellite & Radar Manufacturing, and Clutch & Brake Manufacturing, among others.
