Oxford Finance announced the closing of a senior credit facility with Diversis Capital, LLC, a private equity firm focused on acquiring and growing small- and middle-market companies. Oxford was the sole lender and administrative agent for this transaction. Funds were used for the acquisition of Caligor Rx ("Caligor or "the Company"), a leading provider of comparator drugs for clinical trials.
CaligorRx manages the regulatory, logistics and supply chain challenges of sourcing, storing and distributing investigational drugs for comparator clinical trials and unlicensed medicines for expanded access programs. The Company serves pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from facilities in Secaucus, New Jersey and Dartford, UK, as well as depot locations worldwide.
"Oxford is very pleased that Diversis chose Oxford to finance its first acquisition in the healthcare space," said Tracy S. Maziek, managing director at Oxford Finance. "Caligor plays an important role in the supply chain that delivers innovative and critical drugs to the market, and we wish Diversis success with this new business venture."
"We were excited to work with Oxford on this transaction," said Ron Nayot, managing director at Diversis Capital. "Their team was very knowledgeable about the healthcare services space, and they were highly collaborative throughout the entire financing process."
