Monroe Capital LLC announced Steve Hinrichs has joined the firm as Managing Director in its Los Angeles office. Hinrichs will serve as the firm’s Group Head for the Southern California region.

“We are very excited to add Steve to the Monroe Capital team,” said Ted Koenig, President & CEO of Monroe Capital. “Steve has an accomplished career of over 25 years providing financing solutions to middle-market companies and brings with him many great relationships and a wide range of experience across multiple industries. He will help us continue to grow our robust origination platform that we have built throughout the U.S. and Canada.”

Prior to Monroe, Hinrichs was a Managing Director at Capital One Business Credit, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the bank’s business in the West Coast region. Prior to Capital One Business Credit, he was a Senior Vice President at Bank of America Business Capital, where he managed a team and was responsible for the originations, structuring, underwriting, closing and funding of asset-based financing transactions for 16 years. Prior to Bank of America Business Capital, he was at General Electric Capital Corporation (GECC).

Hinrichs earned his B.A. in Accounting and Finance from San Jose State University. He holds FINRA S7, S24 and S63 licenses. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Association for Corporate Growth.
