By order of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Richard Marshack, Tiger Capital Group’s Commercial & Industrial division will conduct an online auction on July 21 for the assets of Ranchito Super Markets, a 20,000-sq-ft. Latino market that served northern Orange County shoppers with fresh produce, fresh meat, traditional Mexican hot foods, and freshly baked goods.
The sale will include bakery, deli, meat, seafood, and Tortilleria equipment, refrigerators and walk-in freezers, sales floor fixtures, checkout equipment, backroom equipment, and vehicles.
“Supermarkets, restaurants, delicatessens, bakeries, and specialty food stores will be interested in the assets up for bid,” said Wayne Hecht, Field Operations Manager at Tiger Group’s Commercial & Industrial division. “This auction offers a great opportunity for food retailers and restaurants to acquire a wide range of well-maintained equipment for selling, preparation and backroom areas.”
Deli, meat and seafood department equipment includes two Butcher Boy meat cutting band saws, a Hobart Grinder and meat slicer, two commercial microwave ovens, Tri-Starr deep fryers, an Alto-Sham hot food display, nine Kysor and Hussman refrigerated display cases, and more.
Bakery assets include a Lucks Ovation single rack rotary baker’s oven, Hobart 140- and 60-quart mixers, reach-in display cases, merchandisers, preparation tables, and trays. Tortilleria equipment up for bid includes a Casa Herrera tortilla oven, and a Masa feeder and mixer.
Available refrigeration equipment includes Tyler multi-deck dairy/deli merchandisers and reach-in freezers, as well as Hussman, True, and Tyler refrigerated display cases, produce coolers, and walk in coolers and freezers, and branded beverage and freezer cases.
Sales floor, front-end and backroom assets for sale include B&T checkout lanes, MagellantaLogic scale/scanner point-of-sale terminals, produce tables, gondola shelving, tables and chairs, and assorted racking. The offering also includes stainless steel sinks, tables, an ice maker, a KMF baler, and more.
Rolling stock includes a 1999 International Box Truck, a 2006 Chevrolet 1500 cargo van, Toyota and Nissan LPG forklifts, and electric walk-behind pallet jacks, a JLG scissor lift, hydraulic pallet jacks, pallet racking, and shop and shopping carts. Office equipment includes desks, chairs and a safe.
