Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced that Dana Carl Knowlton has joined the Middle Market Originations team in New York as a business development officer. In his new role, Knowlton is primarily responsible for sourcing and structuring flexible asset-based financings for middle-market companies with credit needs ranging from $5 million to roughly $35 million. Knowlton is reporting to Rob Kinne, regional loan originations manager for the Middle Market Loan Originations team, who oversees the Northeast region.

“Dana has already proven to be a key asset to our loan originations team in New York, consistently bringing innovative ideas and thinking to the table,” says Rob Kinne.  “He has a solid and broad skill set with respect to not only our specific financial products but the extensive services offered within our Wholesale Banking Group”.

Knowlton joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2011 as a business development officer in Atlanta. Prior to joining Capital Finance, Knowlton spent three years with the Wells Fargo Financial Institutions group. In addition, Knowlton completed the Credit Management Training Program, an intensive program which also includes extensive collaboration with leadership across the Wells Fargo platform.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2008, he was an investment banking analyst at Houlihan Lokey in Minneapolis. Knowlton graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance.
