Danielle Prentis, an experienced portfolio manager, has been named senior business development officer for KeyBank Business Capital (KBBC). Prentiss, who is a vice president, joins KBBC as a result of KeyBank’s acquisition of First Niagara Financial Group, which closed July 2016. She is based in Boston.
Prior to joining KBBC, Prentis was first vice president, senior portfolio manager at First Niagara Commercial Finance, where she managed portfolio relationships. Prentis’ prior experience includes Salus Capital, where she was a vice president and portfolio manager overseeing diverse asset based loans, and Wells Fargo Capital Finance, where she was an assistant vice president and senior treasury analyst, and as a senior treasury analyst and supervisor of banking relationships at the office of the Massachusetts State Treasury.
She received a B.A. in Political Science and a M.B.A. degree from Simmons College.
She is a board member for the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) of New England, serves as board treasurer for IWRIC and is a board member for the Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Massachusetts. Prentis is also active in the Commercial Finance Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
