Exworks Capital provided a $2.5 million credit facility to a lumber company in the Northeastern United States.
The company developed a manufacturing site for heat treatment of wood chips for export. In addition to exporting woodchips, this company is also in the business of exporting logs for construction materials such as plywood and furniture manufacturing.
ExWorks Capital provided working capital financing in order to help the company fulfill a large export contract.
"ExWorks Capital was able to provide a working capital solution for the company's international growth. This facility supports a U.S. based company in a rural region providing renewable energy to countries lacking the necessary resources," stated Matt Chandler, Business Development Officer at ExWorks Capital.
