Bruderman Brothers Names New Head of Investment Banking

Bruderman Brothers, the family-owned third generation financial services firm, announced that Andrew S. Klein has been appointed Head of Investment Banking. He will be responsible for the development of strategy for the investment bank, the introduction of new investment banking products, and meeting needs and challenges in the present-day market. Klein will focus on expanding the investment banking operations and extending and optimizing the customer base, particularly with Bruderman’s family-owned business clients. Gerry Eastman, will move over to lead Bruderman & Co’s Merchant Banking division and will retain the title of Vice Chairman, Investment Banking.

Andrew has a proven track record of building banking platforms and a talent for understanding and meeting client needs.”

Bruderman’s Chairman, Matthew J. Bruderman, adds “Andrew has already been instrumental and impactful in our growth and recent successes. With Andrew at the helm of the banking division, I will be able to focus more on our Merchant Banking activities as well as client focused efforts.”

Klein joined Bruderman Brothers in 2016 as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Banking division, with the goal of building out a best in class middle market platform. He has spent 20+ years in the financial industry, in executive and management positions with a number of institutions. In his new role, Klein will be a member of the Bruderman & Co. Management Committee.
