Beth Herrington, a results-driven middle-market banker with 20 years of broad financial services experiences, is joining Atlantic Capital Bank’s new Charlotte office this month.
Herrington, now Senior Vice President in Corporate Banking with Atlantic Capital, will advise clients on senior debt capital solutions, cash management efficiencies, and other financial alternatives to deliver actionable insights and solutions.
“I chose Atlantic Capital because the company has a service philosophy that I believe in,” Herrington said. “I strive to have a reputation for identifying unmet needs and targeting effective and efficient solutions both for clients and their principals, as does Atlantic Capital.”
Herrington has spent her 20 years of experience working for PNC Bank, First Charter Bank and Wachovia Bank. She has a proven track record as a trusted advisor to commercial and industrial middle-market firms with annual revenues of $5 million to $1 billion.
Before joining Atlantic Capital, Herrington was Vice President at PNC Bank in Charlotte. She recently completed her tenure as the Board President for the Metropolitan Business Professional Women Organization and is currently active on the Board of Directors for the Community School of the Arts. Beth is also on the UNC Charlotte Graduate School Advisory Board.
Mark DeMarcus, Atlantic Capital Carolinas Market President, said Herrington’s seasoned expertise would help move the bottom line for Atlantic Capital’s clients.
“Beth is a key hire,” DeMarcus said. “She partners with client leadership teams in developing strategic capital options and establishing cash flow optimization strategies to achieve client objectives. She offers her clients thoughtful ideas, market knowledge and industry specific solutions.”
Herrington holds a B.S. in Business Administration from University of North Carolina, Charlotte along with an MBA from Appalachian State University.
