DLA Piper announced that Joshua Morse has joined the firm's Restructuring group as a partner in San Francisco.
Morse focuses his practice on corporate restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings and represents bondholders, debtors, secured lenders, indenture trustees and creditors' committees. His experience includes both out-of-court restructuring negotiations and representing bondholders in complex matters in bankruptcy courts throughout the United States. He serves clients across a wide range of industries and sectors, including technology, gaming, media, retail, aerospace, transportation, oil and gas, power generation, mining, and manufacturing.
"Josh has deep experience and a strong reputation in the bondholder community, which will provide expanded support and capabilities in the restructuring arena, both in the US and abroad," said Richard Chesley, global co-chair of DLA Piper's Restructuring group. Morse has handled restructuring and bankruptcy matters involving iHeartCommunications, Inc., Atlas Iron Limited, American Airlines, Adelphia Communications Corporation, the City of Stockton, Dade Behring Holdings, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, FriendFinder Networks, Tropicana Las Vegas Resort and Casino, NewZoom, Inc.TerraVia Holdings, Inc., the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Tribune Company, and SONICblue, among others.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Morse was a partner with Jones Day. He received his J.D. from Santa Clara University and his B.B.A. from New Mexico State University.
