Business Capital (BizCap), a commercial finance, restructuring and advisory firm, announced it has hired two Business Development Managers, former commercial banker Alan Koski and financial advisor Jake Rose. Both will be responsible for assisting the firm with their rapidly expanding new client base. They will also support BizCap’s credit professionals and capital partners to efficiently deliver optimal credit solutions.
“We are pleased to add these two valuable members to our group. Alan, a seasoned executive in the commercial banking and financial services industries for the last twenty five years, brings extensive experience originating commercial loans and leading banking teams,” said Chuck Doyle, Managing Director of Business Capital. “Jake has been working with clients in the financial advisory space for several years. With these two on board, we can increase our reach and ability to provide businesses with the liquidity solutions they need and continue to be highly responsive to our finance partners as well.”
Koski brings extensive expertise developing and managing commercial loan portfolios, as well as the loan process from underwriting to monitoring. Before joining Business Capital, he spent sixteen years as an executive in commercial banking with firms including Mechanics Bank, River City Bank, PremierWest Bank and, most recently, five years as SVP with Sacramento Bank of Commerce. He earned his MBA in finance at San Francisco State University and his BA in mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. He will be based in the Sacramento area.
Rose was employed with Fisher Investments and, most recently, JP Morgan Chase working in portfolio advisory and relationship management for investment and private banking clients. He graduated from the University of Arizona’s College of Management and will be based in the San Francisco office.
