Hilco Global announced that Thomas A. Greco, CEO Hilco Valuation and Industrial Services, will be honored by the financial services industry and recognized by National Jewish Health - the nation’s leading respiratory hospital - and is set to receive the 2019 Humanitarian Award for his outstanding leadership in the community and financial industry.
Greco has been with Hilco Global since 2010 and has over 30 years of financial services experience. He has led valuation, lending and investment teams across multiple industries, has managed large business groups on a global scale and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt in quality management. Prior to joining Hilco, Greco was an executive with GE Capital where he was a customer of Hilco Global for fifteen years. This helped him form a unique perspective on the requisites and fundamentals of a best-in-class valuation services provider, which form the backbone of his leadership strategy today.
“I’ve been involved with National Jewish Health for many years and have seen first-hand how the incredible medical professionals and hospital leadership are committed to treating, studying and solving many of the most challenging respiratory diseases in the world and saving lives.” Mr. Greco continues, “I am honored to receive this award and raise money to help them continue their important mission of helping others afflicted with lung, heart and immune diseases.”
Greco is active in community causes including serving on the President’s Board for UCAN, an organization that helps at-risk children, youth and families through more than 30 programs that create a healing process for those who have experienced trauma.
The Financial Industries Dinner event supports medical research, clinical and educational programs for National Jewish Health. The financial services industry annual event began in 1977 and has become one of the largest events supporting the hospital each year. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $15 million.
The National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award recognizes individuals who have made significant civic and charitable contributions and are leaders in their communities and industries. The award will be presented to Mr. Greco during the annual National Jewish Health Financial Industries Dinner on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City.
