Cascade Partners announced that Shareef Simaika has joined our team as a Managing Director, focused on leading the company's Detroit restructuring practice. With over 20 years of experience in restructuring advisory, Shareef brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm.
Simaika has been a senior leader in several organizations leading and assisting a variety of corporate restructuring, refinancing, customer/supply chain relationship management, and bankruptcy reorganizations. He draws on his experience as a commercial lender and advisor to meet the most complex demands of his clients. Throughout his career, Shareef has represented companies, secured lenders, and business owners, leading restructuring initiatives and providing clients with unique insights into the perspectives of various stakeholders. He provides a steadying hand and guiding voice during some of the most critical and sensitive times for organizations, large and small. His expertise spans a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, automotive, energy, food, retail, real estate, contractors, and professional services.

Simaika earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University – Eli Broad College of Business and is a Turnaround Management Associate Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). His addition to the team strengthens Cascade Partners' capabilities and enhances the company's ability to deliver comprehensive restructuring and performance improvement services.
