Rockefeller Capital Management announced that Richard W. Ginn has joined the Firm as a Managing Director in Rockefeller Strategic Advisory focused on providing strategic advice to financial services clients.
Ginn has more than 20 years of investment banking experience, having served as a trusted advisor to a range of companies in the financial services sector on M&A and capital-raising transactions. At Rockefeller, he will be responsible for senior client coverage and deal origination with financial institutions, focused on further growing the Strategic Advisory business.

Ginn joins Rockefeller Capital Management from Westmere Management, an independent advisory and consulting firm he established in 2016. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for more than 15 years. Earlier in his career, Ginn worked in the Financial Institutions Group at Lehman Brothers and started his career serving financial services clients at KPMG. He is a graduate of the Auckland University of Technology and has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
