Blank Rome LLP announced that Andrew J. White has joined the Finance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy group as an associate in the Firm’s new Chicago office, which entered the market this past summer with the notable addition of partners Kenneth J. Ottaviano, Karin H. Berg, William J. Dorsey, and Paige Barr Tinkham.
White concentrates his practice on a wide range of finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters. Prior to joining Blank Rome, he was an examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In this role, he examined financial institution investment and loan portfolios and legal documentation for conformity with financial regulations; collaborated with financial institution board and senior management to address discriminatory lending practices and disclosure requirements for commercial and consumer loans; and reviewed financial institutions for conformity with regulatory requirements prior to merger, acquisition, or new banking activity approval.
Admitted to practice in Illinois, White earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science and Economics, magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.
