Regions Bank announced that Tara Odell, Commercial Relationship Manager for the bank in East Texas, has been promoted to serve as Market Executive for Tyler and surrounding communities.
As Market Executive, Odell will leverage her local experience and insights to expand Regions’ client base while also taking a strategic, proactive role in addressing various needs across the area. She will work with colleagues and community members in support of Regions’ community engagement initiatives throughout East Texas, including volunteer service, nonprofit assistance, delivering financial education and more.
Odell will also continue in her role as Commercial Relationship Manager, delivering customized financial solutions for local businesses and employers.
“Tara’s experience and the relationships she has established in East Texas make her a natural fit for the role of Tyler Market Executive,” said Mark Evans, Commercial Banking Leader for Regions. “Her expertise, combined with the strength of our entire East Texas team, will help Regions further strengthen its focus on this vibrant area. We congratulate her on this wellearned promotion.”
Odell will focus local teams on implementing Regions360, the bank’s comprehensive approach to meeting customers’ needs. Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of clients and collaborate with colleagues from Regions’ various departments — including Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking and Private Wealth Management — to develop holistic solutions.
“Regions continues to make significant investments in its capabilities, resources and talent to best serve our customers,” said Odell. “The bank’s commitment to combining industry expertise with personalized service is what differentiates us in Tyler. I am honored to lead the collaboration of our teams and am committed to building on Regions’ strong foundation of community engagement.”
