Brookline Bank recently appointed Thomas McNamara to be senior vice president in the bank’s commercial banking division.
McNamara brings more than 30 years of corporate banking experience to Brookline Bank.
“Tom’s years of experience in middle market banking and his success in sourcing and closing commercial banking transactions makes him an exceptional fit for this role,” said David B. L’Heureux, executive vice president and division executive for commercial banking. “Tom’s history of creating value for his long standing client relationships aligns perfectly with Brookline Bank’s core values. Tom will be an integral member of our commercial banking team.” McNamara previously held senior commercial banking and management roles at national and super-regional financial institutions leading teams working with a variety of middle market portfolios across New England. McNamara will be based at Brookline Bank’s Wakefield office and work with clients throughout Greater Boston.
McNamara received his Bachelor of Arts in government and legal studies and minor in history from Bowdoin College.
