Womble Bond Dickinson announced that Alidad Vakili has joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group as a partner in San Francisco. Vakili brings extensive experience in advising entrepreneurs, founders, emerging growth and established companies, and investors on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including entity formation, governance, commercial transactions, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing.
With a strong background in technology, healthcare, and clean energy, Vakili has successfully guided clients through project finance for renewable energy ventures, cross-border transactions, and complex regulatory frameworks. His deep business acumen and practical approach help clients navigate evolving markets and position themselves for long-term success.

Beyond his legal practice, Vakili is a dedicated thought leader and speaker on corporate law, venture capital, and startup growth strategies, frequently presenting at industry webinars and workshops. He is a board member of the Round Hill Property Owners Association and has previously held leadership roles with the San Diego County Bar Association.
Vakili is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Fluent in Farsi and French, he brings a global perspective to his work with international clients.
Vakili earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
