Advance Business Capital expanded its already broad suite of services with a generous fuel advance program.
The program is aimed at ABC’s core market, small to mid-sized trucking companies, operators that are often strapped for working capital. Since fuel runs nearly a third of a trucker’s operating costs, it can be a crushing weight on a growing operation.
“A trucker is at a profound disadvantage when he has to worry about the price of fuel just to get a load,” says Ray Workman, ABC’s new Fuel Advance Manager. “This program helps to level the playing field for the smaller guys, especially when they can also reduce costs with our discount fuel card. We want our clients to get their money right away, so as soon as we get documentation we add the advance to a trucker’s fuel card.“
As with all its programs, ABC has kept the advance process simple and straightforward. All an ABC Client has to do is send in a request along with a rate confirmation and pick-up bill of lading. In most cases, the company is able to make can advance of fifty percent within an hour of receipt.
The fuel advance program joins this Texas-based factor’s already wide range of services, including credit checks, collections, freight insurance, load board access, back office services and of course, prompt and reliable factoring.
"Our business model is very simple,” says Steven Hausman, president and CEO of Advance Business Capital. “The bigger our clients grow, the bigger we grow. Everything we do is based on that premise. We partnered with TransCore so clients would have access to the best load boards in the business. We added freight insurance and back office services for the same reason. A trucker should be able to grab a load without worrying how he’ll get from one point to another regardless of the price at the pump. Our fuel advance program lets him do that.”
Since its founding in 2004, Advance Business Capital has become one of the dominant players in American freight factoring. In addition to its principal service of purchasing accounts receivables for trucking companies, the company offers a comprehensive suite of “back office” services that lift a heavy accounting and paperwork burden from small to mid-sized trucking companies.
