EisnerAmper announced that Mark Brown has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services (“FLVS”) practice.

Brown has 25 years of experience performing economic, accounting and financial analysis, including valuations; corporate investigations of fraud and bribery; compliance program assessments and due diligence; and litigation support including quantification of damages and expert witness testimony in international arbitration as well as state and federal courts. Brown provides forensic services to a variety of business sectors, and he assists private equity firms in delivering forensic services to portfolio companies.

Brown’s experience also includes compliance program design, gap analysis and risk assessments, including anti-fraud controls and anti-bribery. He drafts risk management policies and works with companies to enhance internal controls.

“We’re thrilled that Mark has joined our firm,” said Allen Wilen, National Director of the Financial Advisory Services Group. “An expert witness on economic damages on behalf of the U.S. before the Iran-U.S. claims tribunal in the Netherlands, and as a member of the investigatory team of the Tom Petters Ponzi scheme, Mark has that high-powered practical experience that will greatly serve EisnerAmper’s FLVS clients.”

Brown has a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, an M.B.A. in Accounting from Cornell University, and a J.D. from the University of Windsor. He holds the Certified Fraud Examiner designation and is a member of the New York, Ontario and American Bar Associations. Mark will be based at EisnerAmper’s New York City headquarters.
