Crestmark Transportation Division Promotes New BDO

December 13, 2013, 07:19 AM

In an effort to strengthen Crestmark’s support of the transportation industry, Crestmark has recently moved a long-time Crestmark employee into a business development role. Sherri Myers will support businesses in the Great Lakes and Northeast; and will report through National Sales Director, Ray Morandell. She will fund clients through the Crestmark Transportation Division office, located in Franklin, Tennessee, whose sole focus is on the financial needs of the trucking/distribution industry.

Myers comes to the position with over 13 years of diverse Crestmark experience. Most recently, she worked in the Portfolio department, managing client accounts as a Vice President, Account Executive at the Crestmark Troy/Midwest Region office. In this role, she was able to bring several new clients to Crestmark while working in support of existing clients. Prior to that, Myers held numerous roles in the credit and operations departments including that of Assistant Operations Manager. Myers has a B.A. in Business Management from Oakland University.

“I am excited to move into this role and meet the many great people of this industry. I know how important this industry is to the United States economy, and look forward to working in support of them,” said Myers.

“Sherri’s understanding of Crestmark’s financing options and ‘get-it-done’ attitude will be a great addition to the Transportation Division, and to the industry as a whole,” said Morandell. “This new role is one of Crestmark’s numerous plans to increase support for the transportation industry nationwide. I am glad to have Sherri on my team.”

Crestmark is an FDIC-insured bank that provides innovative financial solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses.
