GCG’s Frankel Recognized as IWIRC’s 2013 Rising Star

Sarah Frankel, business development specialist at The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), has been recognized as the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) 2013 Rising Star. The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG) is the nation’s recognized leader in legal administration services.

IWIRC is an international networking organization dedicated to women in the insolvency and restructuring industry, with more than 1,200 members. The Rising Star Award recognizes one extraordinary IWIRC member who has made significant contributions and has shown exceptional dedication, commitment and leadership in their field and in support of IWIRC’s mission.

“I am humbled and extremely honored to have been selected for this award by such an extraordinary group of women,” said Frankel. “Working alongside IWIRC members to promote and connect women in the restructuring space is an incredibly rewarding experience and one I hope to continue as we engage more and more talented women from around the world.”

Based in New York City, Frankel is critical to driving GCG’s restructuring business development strategy through case management, outreach initiatives, and the maintenance and development of key client relationships. Beyond her work at GCG, Frankel dedicates her time to various organizations, including the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). She also serves on the boards of the TMA NextGen Committee and is Co-Chair of the IWIRC New York network.
