Gerber Finance announced it has funded a $4 million line of credit to Numi Organic Tea. The company was established in 1999 and is a worldwide importer and exporter of specialty organic premium teas and herbs. It is the largest fair trade certified tea brand and one of the fastest growing organic tea companies in the North America.
Numi is committed to environmental responsibility and imports and produces a wide variety of super-premium organic teas and herbal “tea sans” which are globally sustainable in recyclable packaging. Its products can be found in major national retail outlets and specialty stores including Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, Safeway, Target, Balducci’s, Cost Plus World Markets, Wegmans, Amazon and its teas are sold to and used by well-known international food service providers such as Cheesecake Factory, Hyatt, Cosi, and United Airlines among many others.
