Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced that Stewart A. Kagan has joined the firm as a partner in the Finance Practice resident in the firm's New York office.

Kagan represents corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions with respect to debt financings and private equity transactions. His practice focuses on leveraged finance, including bank financings, high-yield debt offerings and bankruptcy-related transactions.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Kagan was a partner at a leading New York-based firm. He received a JD from Yale Law School in 1985 and a BA from Harvard University in 1980. Mr. Kagan is admitted to practice in the US District Court, Southern District of New York; New York; and Connecticut. He has been recognized by Chambers and Legal 500.
