FTI Consulting announced that Amir Agam, Senior Managing Director in the Company's Corporate Finance/Restructuring segment, was recognized in the Service Provider category of The M&A Advisor's 6th Annual 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Awards.
The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate the emerging industry leaders in M&A, financing and restructuring who have reached a significant level of success in the industry before the age of 40. The honorees were selected from a pool of nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community.
"This is an outstanding recognition for Amir and we are excited he has been named to this year's list," said Steven Gunby, President and Chief Executive Officer of FTI Consulting. "Amir represents the kind of professional that FTI Consulting looks to attract and retain, someone who is not only committed to serving his clients, but also to developing his team and supporting the communities in which we do business."
Agam specializes in the revitalization of underperforming businesses, as well as advising creditors and potential acquirers of troubled companies. He has more than 16 years of experience advising senior management and creditors regarding companies that are stagnant or underperforming. Agam has served as a financial advisor during bankruptcy proceedings, provided operational consulting services to assist companies in avoiding bankruptcy and improving operating results, and advised secured and unsecured creditors in out-of-court restructurings and in formal bankruptcy proceedings.
