Contractors and others wishing to purchase heavy-duty construction and underground utility equipment at competitive prices can do so November 12, when Tiger Capital Group’s Remarketing Services Division, Perfection Industrial Sales and Alex Lyon & Son, conduct a live webcast auction of assets formerly owned by the now-defunct Mlaskoch Excavating Inc. The sale features more than 750 pieces of directional drilling, drilling support and shop support equipment, as well as rolling stock.
Live bidding will take place at the company’s former headquarters, 8060 Park Drive in Willow River, Minn., beginning at 9:00 a.m. (CT) on November 12. Those intending to bid online during the auction are required to register by going to www.SoldTiger.com, and follow links to bid through either Bidspotter or Proxibid’s online auction webcast system. Meanwhile, pre-auction bids can be submitted online, beginning November 1. Previews of the various assets being offered in the auction will be held at the site from November 4 through November 11, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CT).
”This will be the largest offering of underground directional drilling and construction equipment in Minnesota this year,” said Tiger Remarketing Senior Vice President Matt DelGuidice. “This well-maintained equipment will be appealing to both small operators and large contractors.”
Key drilling equipment featured in the auction includes five Vermeer Directional Drills from as late as 2013, Case backhoe loaders from as late as 2011, Ditch Witch cable plows, along with compactors, directional drills, bulldozers, reel trucks, reel trailers, and vacuum excavation systems. Drilling support equipment available for bid includes air compressors, backhoe attachments, heaters, a portable generator, trash pump, and pneumatic jack hammers.
The auction’s rolling stock includes tractors, dump trucks, pickup trucks, SUVs and vans from Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Dodge, Freightliner, Peterbilt, International and other manufacturers. Trailers are also available from manufacturers like Hooper, JTC, Stewart Stevenson, Sherman Reilly, Ditch Witch, Fontaine, Avenger, Case, and Cargo Pro.
General shop support equipment up for bid includes forklifts with up to 15,000 pounds of capacity, fuel tanks, generators, storage containers, a plasma cutter and pressure washer, a drill press, and about 20 rolls of fiber-optic cable.
