Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL)announced that Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS) has acquired Salinas Valley PrimeCare Medical Group (PrimeCare). BGL advised Salinas Valley Memorial in the transaction.

PrimeCare's footprint includes two primary care locations, an urgent care center, and a full service diagnostic laboratory.

This strategic transaction strengthens Salinas Valley Memorial's reach through the acquisition of 20 physician providers and the expansion of its urgent care platform, Doctors on Duty.

Opened in 1953, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, a Public District Hospital, is the cornerstone facility of the Healthcare System.  The hospital is a 269-bed, multi-specialty, acute care hospital and has a Medical Staff of 300 board-certified physicians across a range of specialties.
